Agfa's research resulted in a large portfolio of patent families, some of which may be of relevance to you and your business. Agfa offers this know-how for licensing or sale, so that you do not have to reinvent the wheel !

Like many companies, Agfa knows the potential value of its IP and is keen to exploit it - IP is an asset, to be profitably employed. One way that Agfa does this is by working with fellow innovator yet2.com (Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA; http://www.yet2.com/), the first online global marketplace for technology intellectual property. Launched in the spring of 2000, yet2.com has counted Agfa as a consortium member from the outset, underpinning Agfa's commitment to the technology licensing process - and to innovation itself. The consortium members expect the Internet forum to bring suppliers and buyers together significantly faster and more efficiently. Agfa-Gevaert N.V. expects its technologies to be better used as a result of this new marketing method.
