Agfa-Gevaert communique ses résultats du quatrième trimestre
Agfa-Gevaert annonce aujourd'hui ses résultats du quatrième trimestre. Le prix élevé des matières premières continue à peser sur les résultats du Groupe, et le chiffre d’affaires a subi l’effet de l’euro fort et du ralentissement de l’économie américaine. Au cours du quatrième trimestre, Agfa-Gevaert a réussi à diminuer considérablement son fonds de roulement et sa dette financière nette. Le chiffre d’affaires s’élève à 864 millions d’euros. L'EBIT récurrent est de 59 millions d’euros, et la perte nette s’élève à 27 millions d’euros.

Agfa-Gevaert maakt resultaten vierde kwartaal bekend
Agfa-Gevaert maakte vandaag de resultaten van het vierde kwartaal bekend. De hoge grondstofkosten bleven wegen op de resultaten van de Groep en de omzet werd beïnvloed door de sterke euro en de economische vertraging in de VS. Tijdens het vierde kwartaal slaagde Agfa-Gevaert erin om het werkkapitaal en de netto financiële schuld aanzienlijk terug te dringen. De omzet kwam uit op 864 miljoen euro. De recurrente EBIT bedroeg 59 miljoen euro en het nettoverlies 27 miljoen euro.

Agfa-Gevaert reports fourth quarter results
Agfa-Gevaert today announced its fourth quarter results. High raw material costs continued to weigh on the Group’s results and sales were affected by the strong Euro and the economic slowdown in the USA. During the fourth quarter, Agfa-Gevaert succeeded to substantially reduce its working capital and net financial debt. Sales amounted to 864 million Euro. Recurring EBIT was 59 million Euro and the net loss amounted to 27 million Euro.

Agfa HealthCare and Teranet help 33 Ontario hospitals improve collaboration
Agfa HealthCare, a leading provider of IT-enabled clinical workflow and diagnostic imaging solutions, and Teranet, a leading provider of integrated land-based information products, announce today the provision and hosting of a new Diagnostic Imaging data center, and Virtual Private Network (VPN) services for select hospitals across Ontario. The Hospital Diagnostic Imaging Repository Services (HDIRS) PACS project (Picture Archiving and Communications System) is a joint initiative of 23 hospital corporations to share diagnostic images and reports across 33 Ontario hospital sites. The HDIRS project – formerly known as the Toronto East Network (TEN) – is part of the Canadian Health Infoway initiative to accelerate the implementation of reliable and secure health information systems, leading to the eventual goal of an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) for every Canadian.
