Agfa Graphics Further Strengthens U.S. Sales & Marketing Organization.
Agfa Graphics today announced a change to its U.S. sales & marketing organization designed to provide even greater focus on servicing Agfa’s customers. Peter Wilkens, director of Agfa’s newspaper segment for North America, will now head the U.S. sales & marketing team as vice president, leading a new organization that now includes all prepress solutions across Agfa’s commercial, corporate and newspaper segments.

Agfa Recognized by Leading IT Magazines for :IntellSyst Remote Diagnostic System.
Agfa Graphics today announced that it has been given a Technology & Business (T&B) Award from START-IT magazine and a Value Chain Award from M2M magazine. Both awards acknowledge contributions to the science of providing efficient remote imaging services for graphic communications professionals worldwide.

Agfa Graphics, Canada Names Two New Account Managers.
Agfa Graphics today announced the appointments of Stan Tranter as account manager for Quebec and Mario Michelini as national corporate account manager for Canada. Tranter, who has been with Agfa for 13 years, will work closely with existing customers in the province to maintain ongoing relationships, pursue new accounts, and promote Agfa’s technological and market leadership throughout the territory. One of Tranter’s previous roles with the company was to train Agfa employees on various products and systems, which he did on a worldwide basis.

Agfa Graphics' President Receives Award from Graphic Arts Honor Society
Agfa Graphics today announced that Tom Saggiomo, president and chief executive office, Agfa Graphics, North America, was presented with the Gamma Gold Key Award from The Gamma Chapter of Gamma Epsilon Tau of the NYC College of Technology of The City University of New York at their 52nd Annual Installations of Officers last Friday night. Gamma Epsilon Tau is the international graphic arts honor society. Also receiving the Gamma Gold Key Award was Hoag Levins, executive producer of AdAge.com.
