Outpatient clinic first in US to implement Agfa’s full IMPAX® suite with multi-site scheduling tool
Agfa HealthCare announced today that a major outpatient clinic in Kansas will install Agfa’s IMPAX RIS (Radiology Information System), TalkStation speech recognition reporting system, and two IMPAX MA3000 mammography diagnostic display stations as part of a broad integrated solution. In addition, Wichita Clinic will become the first U.S. healthcare facility to implement QPlanner™, Agfa’s unique scheduling tool, across multiple facilities. The entire suite is currently scheduled to be operational later this year.

Agfa HealthCare to Install RIS/PACS/Reporting Solution at Major Outpatient Imaging Group in California
Agfa HealthCare announced that Open System Imaging (OSI), a multi-site outpatient group in California, has selected a complete solution from Agfa for all the Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS) needs of its seven imaging and ambulatory care facility needs. The RIS/PACS and speech recognition reporting solution is part of a deal with Agfa worth more than a half million dollars, expected to provide significant savings in both time and expenses for Open System Imaging.
