Agfa's long-standing experience in chemical engineering, imaging and system design has led to the development of PETix™, a range of bi-axially oriented PET films tailored to the specific needs of the card makers. These highly robust plastic films are designed for the production of cards that have best in class resistance and service life, yet are cost efficient.

In addition, Agfa possesses the know-how about ID documents that are truly secure. This know-how has been incorporated into these PETix films so as to allow high-quality personalisation by laser engraving and/or dye-sublimation (direct or retransfer).
